materials + process

every item we produce is made with fibers that are 100% sustainably sourced and completely biodegradable. much commercial knitwear is made from synthetic fiber blends which are produced from chemicals and do not breathe well. additionally, this synthetic material contributes to clothing waste as it will never biodegrade.

geelong wool - the geelong is a specific breed of the merino sheep which was produced to create the highest quality wool possible. this fiber is collected from the first shearing of young sheep and rivals cashmere in its softness and warmth. its breathability helps regulate body temperature and makes it suitable for many climates. additionally, wool is naturally antibacterial and antimicrobial so it does not need to be washed as often as synthetic fibers even with heavy use.

baby camel wool - the highest grade of camel wool which is collected by brushing baby camels and separating out the downy undercoat. this fiber has historically been seen as a luxury due to its extreme softness and the fact that each animal only produces a small amount of wool.

all of our knitwear is made to shape and produces zero waste unlike traditional knitwear production where sheets of knit fabric are cut and sewn. our style of knitwear production is more intricate and can produce items with a better fit and a neater appearance. every item is made and finished by hand.
